July Construction Unemployment Rates Remain Low, Says ABC

In July, estimated not seasonally adjusted construction unemployment rates rose nationally and in 38 states, fell in eight states and remained unchanged in four on a year-over-year basis, according to an analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by Associated Builders and Contractors. For the third consecutive month, all 50 states posted construction unemployment rates less than 10%. May Construction Unemployment Rates Down Year Over Year in 45 States, Says ABC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Estimated May construction unemployment rates fell in 45 states on a year-over-year basis, rose in four states and were unchanged in one state (Alabama), according to an analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by Associated Builders and Contractors. The May 2018 not seasonally adjusted  national construction unemployment rate fell 0.9 percent from May 2017 to 4.4 percent, the lowest May rate on record. National Construction Unemployment Rate Ticks Up to 4.9 Percent in July

WASHINGTON, Wash. – The national not seasonally adjusted construction unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in July, up 0.4 percent from a year ago, but still the third lowest July rate on record—matching the July 2001 rate, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Nonresidential Construction a Bright Spot in Disappointing Jobs Report, BLS Reveals

WASHINGTON, D.C. — National construction employment remained largely unchanged in March, adding 6,000 net new jobs on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by Associated Builders and Contractors. Construction Unemployment Rates Improve in 10 States Year-Over-Year, ABC Says

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Construction unemployment rates were down in 10 states and unchanged in three in January on a year-over-year basis, according to analysis released by Associated Builders and Contractors. For the nation and 37 states, rates were higher than in January 2016, ending 75 consecutive months of year-over-year declines.
