Shawmut Completes New Premium, Fan Spaces at Barclays Center

Shawmut Design and Construction has completed two new spaces at Barclays Center in partnership with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment: the Gallagher Terrace premium membership club and Modelo Bridge. The projects transform the arena’s west end into an elevated destination for guests and fans as part of BSE’s five-year, more than $100 million plan to enhance the visitor experience throughout the venue. The 5,300-square-foot Gallagher Terrace replaces sections of the 40/40 Club and the Loge Boxes. Gilbane-Flintco Celebrates the Unveiling of Convention District Transformation Project

Mayor John Whitmire has announced the landmark project to revitalize the George R. Brown Convention Center at a press conference hosted by Houston First Corporation. Team members from Hines, Gilbane Building Company, Flintco Construction and Populous joined community members and city officials to commemorate the upcoming development.
