Moose International Lodgic Everyday Community Project Celebrates Grand Opening

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Gilbane Building Company and Moose International recently celebrated the grand opening of the nation’s first Lodgic Everyday Community project in Champaign, Illinois. Gilbane provided preconstruction and construction management services for the Lodgic Everyday Community project, which consisted of tenant redevelopment of approximately 28,000 square feet  of interior space. The project included a new restaurant with outdoor seating, coffee café, retail, co-work office space for lease, childcare, outdoor play area and fitness center. It is one of the organization’s most significant expansion ventures since the turn of the 20th century.

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Completion of Lake County Court Tower

WAUKEGON, Ill. – Clark’s Lake County Courts expansion project team, along with hundreds of community members including county judges and elected officials, gathered recently for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Lake County Court Tower in downtown Waukegan, Illinois. The new facility, which has opened to the public, will help improve the efficiency of the county’s justice system. The new Lake County Court Tower, an eight-story, 200,000-square-foot structure, features 12 new courtrooms, jury assembly space, administrative offices and space to accommodate future growth. Balfour Beatty Completes New $38M Elgin High School in Scotland

Balfour Beatty has completed work on the new $38-million Elgin High School in Moray, on behalf of Hub North Scotland. As part of the works, Balfour Beatty has constructed a new teaching and sports facility adjacent to the existing Elgin High School, which will cater to 1,000 pupils. Balfour Beatty was appointed as main contractor for Elgin High School in 2016, following close collaboration with Hub North Scotland during the preconstruction phase, to provide its client, Moray Council, with the most cost-effective and high-quality design solution.
