The finalists for the 2022 Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award in Construction were announced at CPWR’s annual Research to Practice Seminar and Workshop in June. The award — sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance and administered by CPWR — recognizes innovative Evidence-Based technologies, work practices and programs (interventions) designed to reduce or eliminate construction hazards that lead to injuries and pain in the construction industry. American Society of Concrete Contractors Publish Two New Safety Bulletins
Two safety bulletins have been published: Emergency Rescue Baskets and Concrete Burns. Safety bulletins are brief discussions of the most severe safety issues facing concrete contractors and are published periodically. American Society of Concrete Contractors members receive a complete set of bulletins when they join the organization. They are available for sale to non-members. The Safety and Risk Management Council is a specialty council of the ASCC, dedicated to making its contractors the safest in the industry.
