DENTON, Texas – Sundt Construction, Inc. and the University of North Texas celebrated the topping out of the university’s new Biomedical Engineering addition, located at the northwest corner of the UNT Discovery Park campus in Denton, Texas. The ceremony, which commemorated the placement of the structure’s last steel beam, was held with university officials, the construction and design teams and approximately 200 students from the campus for a beam-signing ceremony in honor of this milestone. To the construction industry, topping out ceremonies are symbolic and bring project stakeholders together to celebrate the project. This was the case for the community of Englewood, Colorado, as individuals celebrated the new police headquarters being built, which is now about 40 percent completed. The dual-branded hotel by Marriott includes the Moxy, debuting in Georgia and designed for millennials, and the AC Hotel, Marriott’s European-inspired hotel.
