The U.S. Green Building Council recently launched Insight, a new data-driven tool that highlights building project design features that can lead to better performance. Insight is available as a feature of the Arc platform and provides information on the design attributes of LEED-certified buildings within a specified geographic region. After 26 months of construction, Clark Construction has reached substantial completion on Frost Tower, the first new office tower to rise in downtown San Antonio, Texas since 1989. Workforce Challenges Continue to Impact Construction Industry as 9 of 10 U.S. Contractors Report Skilled Labor Shortage

Findings from the recently released Q2 2018 USG Corporation + U.S. Chamber of Commerce Commercial Construction Index show four straight quarters with more than 90 percent of contractors concerned over labor shortages. Marc Roberts, LEED AP, was hired as the new director of pre-construction.
