AECOM has been selected to provide engineering, consultancy and project management services to support the construction of a temporary NHS Louisa Jordan hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.
The conversion of the Scottish Events Campus will initially provide NHS Scotland with 300 beds as part of the response to the coronavirus pandemic.
AECOM’s work includes project management, cost management, electrical engineering and IT design, civil and structural engineering, mechanical design review, a supervisor team of building surveyors and health and safety advice.
The firm is working as part of the wider project team, which is onsite 24/7 to ensure rapid delivery of the facility.
Amid the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, AECOM is helping to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees, maintain operational resilience and provide solutions that can help clients and communities along the path to recovery.
