MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Knutson Construction has been awarded general contractor for two new water treatment facilities in Minnetrista, Minnesota.
The construction of the treatment facilities is designed to increase the water quality for the citizens of Minnetrista and to allow for future capacity expansion. Construction will include forced draft aerators, process pumps, well pumps and motors, along with chemical feed systems. The new facilities will be treating for iron and manganese.
The construction team will be led by John Lewis, senior project manager, Jens Frederickson, project manager and Steve Krampert, superintendent. Project groundbreaking took place on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 and is scheduled for completion on Nov. 30.
