CIMIC’s CPB Contractors Wins $107M Wagga Wagga Health Services Project

CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors has been selected by the New South Wales Government in Australia to design and construct the Wagga Wagga Health Service Stage 3 Redevelopment Project. The project will generate revenue of $107 million to the CIMIC Group. Construction commenced in February 2019, with operational commissioning scheduled for late 2020. The WWHS3 Redevelopment Project will consolidate important sub-acute, ambulatory, community and primary health services on a single site, meeting the needs of communities in the wider Murrumbidgee Local Health District into the future. Final Piece of Steel Installed on London’s Tallest Building

In partnership with steel contractor Severfield, Multiplex recently placed the last steel beam at 22 Bishopsgate – London, England’s tallest building. It is the culmination of over two years’ work on the project’s superstructure, which began when the first piece of steel was placed in January 2017. The final building will contain 17,023 tons of steelwork, made up of 14,593 individual pieces of steel. Placing the last piece is a major milestone toward practical completion later this year. Multiplex has reached completion on the fifth and final commercial office tower at Walker Corporation’s landmark $2.5-billion Collins Square development located in Melbourne’s central business district. Caverion, Skanska to Develop New Building for Finland Hospital

Caverion and Skanska have been selected by the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District as its alliance partners for the first phase of the Future Hospital OYS 2030 project, concerning the development of its B-building. The project is implemented through an alliance model where the execution is preceded by a development stage.
