Balfour Beatty has been formally awarded the $382-million contract by The University of Manchester to construct the Manchester Engineering Campus Development located in England. The four-year project forms an essential part of the University of Manchester’s 10-year campus master plan to create an estate benefiting staff, students and visitors. Skanska has begun the second phase of renovations and expansion of the Kymenlaakso Central Hospital located in Finland. The project is owned by Carea-Sairaalat Oy. Carea-Sairaalat Oy, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kymenlaakso Medical and Social Services Joint Undertaking. The expansion comprises a total of five floors, one of which is entirely—and the other partly—underground. The project will take place in a functioning hospital. Outdoor Rink Coming to Grounds of Parliament Hill

OTTAWA, Ontario – It’s not the outdoor classic many were expecting to see this winter, but a skating rink will be built on the lawn of Parliament Hill.
