Fluor Joint Venture to Design, Build LNG Canada Project
LNG Canada has made the final investment decision to build its liquefied natural gas export facility in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. Fluor Corporation’s joint venture with JGC Corporation will provide the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction on the project. Fluor will book its $8.4 billion share of the about $14 billion contract value in the fourth quarter of 2018. The project scope will initially consist of two liquefaction units (trains) for a total of approximately 14 million tons per year of LNG. Yuhu Group Australia’s much-anticipated Jewel development reached a significant construction milestone with a community celebration to mark the topping out of the tallest of the project’s three crystalline towers. PORR Consortium to Build Tunnel in Poland
ŚWINOUJŚCIE, Poland; VIENNA, Austria – The contract for the construction of the Świnoujście tunnel was recently signed. The project will be implemented by a consortium consisting of PORR, Gulermak and Energopol-Szczecin. The contract value is around EUR 150 million and the project is expected to take 48 months to complete. The total length of the project is approximately 3.2 kilometers. Turner Completes Expansion of Cam Ranh International Airport in Vietnam
The Turner team managing construction of Cam Ranh international passenger terminal near Nha Trang, Vietnam, recently celebrated the end of construction and the grand opening of the expanded airport.
