Three contracts have been awarded to construction contractor BESIX Watpac to deliver expansions at Ipswich, Townsville and Mackay Base Hospitals, located in Australia. These projects form part of the State Government’s Queensland Health and Hospitals Plan, which includes a record-breaking $9.7-billion investment in health over the next six years to deliver new hospitals in the state.
