The Design-Build Institute of America announces its 2019 Design-Build Project/Team Award Winners, including the Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino Expansion, located in Phoenix, Arizona, which has received a National Design-Build Merit Award in the Rehabilitation/Renovation/Restoration category. The project will also go on to compete for a National Award of Excellence and Project of the Year to be announced at DBIA’s Design-Build Conference & Expo Awards Ceremony in November. Ground was recently broken for the new $20-million, 182,400-square-foot facility that 1st Phorm will occupy at Fenton Logistics Park in Fenton, Missouri by early next year.
