NCC to Build New North Zealand Super Hospital

The Hovedstaden region of Denmark has chosen NCC to construct the New North Zealand Hospital, the last of the super hospitals to be built in Denmark. NCC and the New North Zealand Hospital will now work out the details and plan to sign an agreement during the fourth quarter. The hospital will comprise a four-story, 118,000-square-meter building. The project is already well known for its design, with a building that resembles a four-leaf clover from above. The hospital will be built in Hillerød. The first phase of the partial demolition, expansion and renovation of Halas Hall, the iconic Lake Forest, Illinois headquarters of the National Football League’s Chicago Bears, has been completed by Mortenson.
