Balfour Beatty has been selected by the University of Reading, England, to deliver its new £33-million Health and Life Sciences building. Balfour Beatty will be responsible for the construction of the 7,500-square-meter state-of-the-art teaching and research facility which, on completion, will form an integral part of the University’s 10-year campus regeneration program. The general contractor has worked in collaboration with the University of Reading through its building framework since July 2015. Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Begins Work on World’s 1st Full-Scale Passenger, Freight System

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has received the first set of tubes designed to move both people and freight to their research and development center in Toulouse, France. With an interior diameter of 4 meters, the system is optimized both for passenger capsules and shipping containers. The first phase includes a closed 320-meter system that will be operational this year. Fenton Logistics Park Takes Shape with BJC Build-Out

Kadean Construction has started building out Fenton Logistics Park Building I for BJC HealthCare’s Clinical Asset Management division located in St. Louis, Missouri.
