Nice Memorial/Senator Thomas “Mac” Middleton Bridge project for the Maryland Transportation Authority. Construction began on the $326-million North 2 Concourse in Terminal 3 at Arizona’s Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, which includes the addition of six new passenger gates. The new concourse will add approximately 173,000 square feet of space and will feature a multi-level design, including a passenger level with gate hold rooms, public restrooms and spaces for future retail or tenant build-outs. Light House, an organization focused on advancing circular practices in the built environment, and its Construction Plastics Initiative, which launched in 2024 to capture, divert and upcycle plastic waste from Metro Vancouver (Canada) construction sites, have added two new construction project partners — the Freedom Mobile Arch with general contractor EllisDon Corporation and the Steveston Community Centre with general contractor Scott Construction. Rail Network Contract Awarded to Boost Mobility on Munich S-Bahn
HOCHTIEF, together with its partner Implenia, has been awarded a major contract by Deutsche Bahn for the second main line of the S-Bahn rail network in Munich (Germany). The new project mainly involves connecting the Ostbahnhof station with the Marienhof stop in the heart of the Bavarian capital. Both companies each have a 50% share in the Tunnel Ostbahnhof consortium.
