Housed on the Washburn University campus in Topeka, Kansas, the 100,000-square-foot, leading-edge crime lab houses spaces dedicated to biology, DNA, toxicology, chemistry, firearm/tool mark, latent prints, trace evidence, digital forensics, vehicle processing and evidence storage. WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health will meet in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 1-2 for updates and discussions with agency officials. Sundt Completes Residence Hall at University of Nevada, Reno
RENO, Nev. — Sundt Construction, Inc. recently completed construction of the new Peavine Hall at the University of Nevada, Reno. The $35-million project, led by Sundt as the construction manager at risk, included demolition of multiple existing buildings and the construction of the 117,000-square-foot, five-story steel and concrete residence hall. Nonresidential Construction Spending Rebounds in October
Nonresidential construction spending bounced back in October, expanding 1 percent on a monthly basis and 4.3 percent year over year, according to a recent release from the U.S. Census Bureau. Spending for the month totaled $611.8 billion on a seasonally adjusted, annualized basis.
