Joint Venture to Construct Data Center in Germany

Yorizon, a joint venture between HOCHTIEF subsidiary HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions and German server and storage systems manufacturer Thomas-Krenn.AG, will be building a network of sustainable, decentralized and locally integrated data centers in Europe. The first of the YEXIO series with Yorizon equipment will open in Heiligenhaus (NRW, Germany) in summer 2025. The land for two more of these data centers has already been secured. Three more sites are to be acquired by the end of the year, and further locations are planned for 2025. Ferrovial Builds Satellite Control and Operation Center in Spain

Construction is complete on a Satellite Control Center for Hisdesat on a site in Hoyo de Manzanares, Madrid, provided by Spain’s Ministry of Defense. The project was completed on schedule in 13 months. Ferrovial served as the general contractor. With the most advanced technology in Europe, the facilities will enhance Hisdesat’s capabilities in preparation for the entry into operation of the two new SpainSat NG satellites, to be launched in the coming months.
