A survey released from DEWALT found more than half of U.S. contractors (55%) feel a lack of skilled workers is a barrier to growing their current business. Looking to the future, 48% believe training the next generation of trades professionals is one of the most critical needs for the success of the construction industry in 2023. 2022 DCC Award Winners Announced

The Decorative Concrete Council announced the winners of its 14th annual Decorative Concrete International Awards competition. The winners were recognized at ASCC’s Annual Conference, September 29, in Cleveland, Ohio. Colorado Hardscapes won the WOW! Award, best overall project, for the USAFA Air Gardens, a restoration project to return the Air Force Academy’s Air Gardens, what had been the focal point of the cadet parade grounds, to its former glory. The area is a 600-foot grid of concrete, landscaping and pools.
