Green Building Initiative announces the first comment period is open through July 5 on GBI’s Green Globes for Existing Buildings 2021 or, the draft standard titled BSR/GBI 02-202x, Green Globes Assessment Protocol for Existing Buildings. National Construction Company Robins & Morton Opens New Tampa Office
National general contractor and construction management firm, Robins & Morton, recently opened its new Tampa, Florida office. Robins & Morton has worked in Tampa for more than 40 years and has more than $880 million of completed and in-progress work throughout the city in the last ten years – including major healthcare projects for clients such as AdventHealth, Baycare and Tampa Community Hospital. This is the contractor’s third office in Florida, preceded by its Orlando and Miami locations, established in 1999 and 2015.

NIBS Names BIM Program Steering Committee Members
The National Institute of Building Sciences has announced the built environment leaders who will serve on the National BIM Program Steering Committee. The NIBS BIM Council began the launch phase for the U.S. National BIM Program in March, when Salla Eckhardt, director of transformation services with Microsoft, was named chair of the National BIM Program Steering Committee.
