Spearheaded by NCCER and Build Your Future, the seventh annual Careers in Construction Month is in full swing this October. Forty states, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington D.C. have filed proclamation requests, making 2019 the highest participation ever for this nationwide observance. City of Boynton Beach, Local Contractor Build Dugouts for Community Little League

East Boynton Beach Little League will take cover this season under four new dugouts funded by the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and built in partnership with DPR Construction’s Builder Bootcamp, a developmental program for aspiring engineers. SEAA Makes Craft Training, Testing Available to College Students

SEAA is expanding its relationship with technical and community colleges in order to bring NCCER accredited testing for craft professions, including the SEAA/NCCER ironworker program, to students in local communities. SkillsUSA, the organization that represents the United States in the WorldSkills Competition, is sending 22 career and technical education competitors to Kazan, Russia, to compete in 20 skill categories during the 45th biennial event Aug. 22-27.
