NEENAH, Wis. — From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 23, Miron Construction Co., Inc. will welcome 40 female students from local classrooms to its Neenah, Wisconsin headquarters for the second annual Build Like a Girl event. The day-long program aims to showcase opportunities for women in the construction industry and combat both the severe lack of women in the field and the skills gap affecting the industry as a whole. Hard Hat Heroes Credentialing Portal Releases Navy, Air Force Alignments

ALACHUA, Fla. — Build Your Future’s military initiative, Hard Hat Heroes, has expanded its credentialing portal by releasing alignments for two new branches: Navy and Air Force. Through this portal, veterans can apply to receive NCCER industry-recognized credentials for the construction-related training they received while in the military. With these newest additions, credentials are now available to the Army, Navy and Air Force.
