The UP Companies has hired Joe Hunsucker as Square UP operations manager at its Kansas City, Kansas office. In his new position, Hunsucker is responsible for leading and managing all field staff, promoting and enforcing company processes and all field training programs, monitoring workmanship on projects, ensuring the delivery of materials and equipment to jobsites and managing labor costs, among other duties. Ayers, FAIA, NAC, CCM, LEED AP, the 11th Architect of the Capitol and president of The Ayers Group, LLC, has accepted the position of interim CEO of NIBS. He previously worked in commercial construction in San Francisco, California where he worked on various high-rise residential projects.
