New construction is complete for Atlanta, Georgia’s Edison Windward and its interior build-out in the new office building for its healthcare tenants. Initiated early March, the project was a collaborative effort between general contractor Swinerton’s Building Group and Special Projects Group. The $4.5-million project entailed a build-out of more than 67,000 square feet of space within Edison. Construction Begins on 127,000-SF Port San Antonio Innovation Center  

Construction has started on Port San Antonio’s Innovation Center, located in Texas and the heart of the 1,900-acre technology and innovation campus. Sundt Construction, Inc. is the general contractor for the project. The facility will be in the heart of the campus that is already home to over 80 employers and their more than 14,000 employees that include leading names in the aerospace, cybersecurity, robotics and defense sectors. Construction is complete on University of California, Santa Barbara’s Jeff and Judy Henley Hall, which houses the university’s Institute for Energy Efficiency. The 49,908-square-foot, three-story facility includes a 128-seat lecture hall, 18 laboratories, 26 offices, conference rooms and group office spaces that accommodate 174 graduate students. Reaching nearly 50 feet and three stories below sea level, the 100,000-square-foot, 236-car garage for Miami’s Una Residences condominium will cost the developers $25 million to build.
