The building was designed to increase autopsy rates to meet appropriate national benchmarks, create a high-functioning facility that can be known for excellence and leadership, facilitate National Association of Medical Examiners accreditation by meeting scientific requirements and provide reliable data for public health to identify trends and emerging diseases. Renovations Slated for Savannah Youth Treatment Center
Major renovations are underway on Coastal Harbor Treatment Center, a facility located in Savannah, Georgia. This treatment center provides mental health services and programs for children and adolescents, ages 4-17, with short- and long-term inpatient care, helping them cope with crisis situations or ongoing behavioral mental or emotional difficulties. The $7.1-million project will cover 68,000 square feet of renovations and upgrades to CHTC, which JE Dunn built in 1985.
