Haselden Construction Breaks Ground on Holy Family High School

Haselden Construction recently broke ground on the expansion of Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colorado. The 34,000-square-foot expansion will include eight new classrooms, a fitness center and auxiliary gym with expanded locker rooms and an enlarged cafeteria, allowing the school to grow from 690 students to 800 students. The expansion, expected to be completed in time for the 2019-2020 school year, will allow Holy Family to deepen its science, technology, engineering and math curriculum as well as offer robotics courses. BNBuilders Completes Major Renovation, Awarded New Project at UC San Diego’s ‘Torrey Pines Center South’ Building

Building on its outstanding relationship with University of California San Diego, BNBuilders recently completed a significant renovation of the third floor of the University’s Torrey Pines Center South building, and was recently awarded an additional TI on the second floor. Renovations to the building, located between Torrey Pines Glider Port and Torrey Pines South Golf Course, were designed by The Miller Hull Partnership. Mortenson has reached completion of Mercyhealth’s Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Riverside, a $505-million regional tertiary specialty women and children’s hospital, adult hospital and multi-specialty clinic in Rockford, Illinois, marking the end of the largest construction project in the city’s history. The new facility, which houses the only state-designated children’s hospital in northern Illinois, and a regional perinatal center with 52-bed level III (highest level) neonatal intensive care unit, opened to patients in January. Topping-Out Ceremony Marks Milestone for The Q Transformation

A major construction milestone in The Q Transformation to update and modernize the 25-year–old publicly owned Quicken Loans Arena was celebrated with a special topping-out ceremony to hoist the project’s final steel beam into place atop of the arena, located in Cleveland, Ohio. General contractor on the project is Whiting Turner. The topping out culminates almost a year of structural steel work on the project, which began in February 2018.
