RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Sundt Construction, Inc. and California Baptist University celebrated the topping out of the university’s new events center and arena located on the southeast quadrant of the school’s main campus in Riverside, California. The event, which commemorated the placement of the structure’s last steel beam, was held on Wednesday, June 22, and brought together city and university officials, the construction and design teams and members of the community for a beam-signing ceremony in honor of the project’s success. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham recently broke ground on The Salvation Army Center of Hope in Birmingham, Alabama. CHICAGO, Ill. – Reed Construction was recently selected to complete a build-out on behalf of Medline Industries, Inc. in Northfield, Illinois. More than 545,000 square feet of renovations are set to take place in the former Kraft Foods Corporate Headquarters to create Medline’s new, state-of-the-art headquarters.     With the Menokin Glass House project, the Skanska team is taking a unique approach to preserving the ruins of the house of Francis Lightfoot Lee, one of the seven signers of the Declaration of Independence from Virginia. The Menokin house was built in 1769 and was designated as a historical landmark in 1971 for its significance. It sits on a 500-acre property along the shoreline of the Chesapeake Gateway. AP Completes New Fire Station in Greenwood Village

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Adolfson & Peterson Construction and members of the local community recently celebrated the completion of the new South Metro Fire Rescue Station 31 in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The grand opening celebration was an educational experience for children and families to tour the facility and learn about the operations of the fire fighters and staff.
