Knutson Awarded Whitewater State Park Minneiska Campground Project

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Knutson Construction has been awarded the contract to expand the existing Whitewater campground, located in Altura, Minnesota. The project is estimated at $7.2 million with an anticipated completion date of July 2017. The project consists of expanding the existing 2,700-acre park with a majority of the work consisting of site clearing, excavation, erosion control, bituminous and concrete pavement, water distribution system, septic system, electrical work, landscaping and site preparation. New buildings will be constructed throughout the campground, which include two sanitation buildings, three picnic shelters, four camper cabins and a photovoltaic system. Tishman will construct One Vanderbilt for New York City’s largest commercial property owner, SL Green Realty Corp. HOOVER, Ala. – The city of Hoover recently broke ground on the Hoover Sports and Events Center. The facility will be built adjacent to the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on 120 acres and is estimated to cost $76 million. Features of the facility include an indoor events center, outdoor sports fields, tennis complex and RV park expansion.
