McCarthy Building Companies has completed the installation of the Nancy Best Fountain at Klyde Warren Park, a water feature that will be one of the highlights of the 5.2-acre park located in the heart of Dallas, Texas. By day, the fountain will serve as an interactive play area and respite as the fountain features a 5,000-square foot splash pad, which can accommodate hundreds of children. McCarthy Begins Mobilization of Construction Workforce, Hiring for Solar Project in Texas

McCarthy Building Companies has contracted with Leeward Renewable Energy as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for a utility-scale solar farm in Pearsall, Texas. The company is responsible for the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the 200-megawatt facility. McCarthy’s renewable energy & storage team is hiring approximately 150 craftworkers to construct the Horizon Solar project, with new crews starting work in October.
