Rosendin has recognized and congratulated the winning teams in the 2023 Associated Schools of Construction Regions 6 & 7 Student Competition’s Electrical Challenge. The annual competition attracts the nation’s construction and engineering college students who have 14 hours to develop building solutions using real-world applications. The six-member Milwaukee School of Engineering team secured first place with the most comprehensive proposal to build an addition to a renewable energy facility in Nevada. Friendship Campus Receives California State Approval to Begin Construction, Project Delivery Group Joins as General Contractor

The Friendship Foundation has received final approval from the State of California’s Division of the State Architect and permits to begin construction on its new Friendship Campus for intellectually and physically diverse students in Redondo Beach, Calif. FF has selected Project Delivery Group as the general contractor for this phase of construction, which includes remaining demolition, earthwork, utility prep and foundation work for the 64,000-square-foot facility. Public Safety Training Center Breaks Ground at Crafton Hills College  

Erickson-Hall Construction Co. joined more than 150 members of Crafton Hills College leadership, elected officials, fire chiefs and other stakeholders to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Public Safety Training Center at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, Calif. The development was made possible by Measure CC, a bond approved by voters in 2018 to fund upgrades in the San Bernardino Community College District. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, in partnership with the National Institute of Building Sciences and MOD X, has released the Offsite Construction for Housing: Research Roadmap, a strategic report that presents the key knowledge gaps and research needs to overcome the barriers and challenges to offsite construction. Offsite construction has the potential to deliver more affordable and accessible single and multifamily housing at scale.
