Friendship Campus Receives California State Approval to Begin Construction, Project Delivery Group Joins as General Contractor

The Friendship Foundation has received final approval from the State of California’s Division of the State Architect and permits to begin construction on its new Friendship Campus for intellectually and physically diverse students in Redondo Beach, Calif. FF has selected Project Delivery Group as the general contractor for this phase of construction, which includes remaining demolition, earthwork, utility prep and foundation work for the 64,000-square-foot facility. Gilbane Building Company Celebrates Ribbon Cutting of Life Sciences Development

Gilbane Building Company, Gensler and the entire project team celebrated the official opening of the 225 Wyman Street development, a 507,000-square-foot, five-story, ground-up life sciences facility in Massachusetts. LEED Gold designed by Gensler; the new facility is engineered to accommodate a 60% lab to 40% office ratio. It offers tenants large, flexible, column-free floor plates for custom workplace configurations with additional structural and MEP capacity to accommodate a range of lab tenant needs.
