Innovative Metals Company, Inc. is now among a short list of metal manufacturers to carry ICC approvals for its metal wall cladding systems. The company recently received ICC approvals for its Latitude and Element architectural wall panels used as a part of its rainscreen systems. ICC-ES, a subsidiary of the International Code Council, provides evaluation reports aimed at making it easier for those charged with enforcing code to determine the compliance of products with the building code. Royal Oaks Campus Expansion Underway in Sun City

Expansion has begun on the campus of Royal Oaks, a Sun City, Arizona retirement community. This is the second time in the past decade general contractor Sundt Construction has worked on the Royal Oaks campus. In 2015, the company built the Friendship House. Sundt will help shape Royal Oaks’ newest neighborhood, Inspirata Pointe, by adding four new independent living buildings and new pavilions to the westside neighborhood. New York’s Newest Iconic Office Tower Touted Second Tallest Office Building in City

A ribbon cutting celebrated the historic opening of One Vanderbilt, New York City’s newest iconic skyscraper. The building abuts Grand Central Terminal and is now the second tallest office tower in New York City. AECOM Tishman served as construction manager on the 1,401-foot office tower in Midtown East. The firm completed the project ahead of schedule and under budget. Modular Mobilization Coalition Delivers 1st Multifamily Modular Construction Project in Washington, D.C. Area

The Modular Mobilization Coalition recently delivered the first multifamily modular construction project in the Petworth area of Washington, D.C. The Petworth Modo project consists of 44 modular units that will be stacked into a five-story building containing 16 apartments. The building is anticipated to be move-in ready by the end of 2020. The modular project is expected to be completed in 10 months compared to a 12-16-month timeline using traditional site-built construction methods.
