Construction of Africa’s Tallest Tower Begins

Besix has been awarded a contract for the construction of the new 282-meter-tall F Tower, the sixth skyscraper in the business district of the city of Abidjan, southeast of the Ivory Coast. When completed, the F Tower will reportedly be Africa’s tallest tower. Besix will be handling site management, as well as civil engineering works, which begin this month on the basis of the existing foundations. A ribbon cutting celebrated the historic opening of One Vanderbilt, New York City’s newest iconic skyscraper. The building abuts Grand Central Terminal and is now the second tallest office tower in New York City. AECOM Tishman served as construction manager on the 1,401-foot office tower in Midtown East. Final Piece of Steel Installed on London’s Tallest Building

In partnership with steel contractor Severfield, Multiplex recently placed the last steel beam at 22 Bishopsgate – London, England’s tallest building. It is the culmination of over two years’ work on the project’s superstructure, which began when the first piece of steel was placed in January 2017.
