Ryan Companies US, Inc., in partnership with Exalt Health, has announced plans to develop a new inpatient rehabilitation facility in Riverview, Florida. The 40,000-square-foot facility will offer 40 beds and provide intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services to patients with complex medical conditions. Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the facility scheduled to open in early 2027. Spending on nonresidential construction is projected to increase only 1.7% this year and grow very modestly to just 2% next year, according to The American Institute of Architects mid-year Consensus Construction Forecast. The outlook by the AIA Consensus Construction Forecast estimates the commercial sector outlook is about on par with the broader industry, with a projected 1.5% increase this year rising to 3.9% in 2026.
