BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Brasfield & Gorrie today is joining with other construction industry stakeholders in sponsoring Safety Week 2018, an industry-wide initiative that aims to raise awareness of safety in construction. During the week of May 7-11, the company will observe Safety Week with events and activities at its offices and jobsites. Construction Employers Add 228K Jobs Throughout Year, Industry Unemployment Rate Lowest Ever for Month

Construction employment increased by 228,000 jobs over the past year despite a weather-related dip last month, and the industry’s unemployment rate fell to 7.4 percent, the lowest yet for March, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America. DALLAS, Texas – TEXO recently announced their 2018 Distinguished Building Award recipients. TDIndustries was acknowledged for its work on the Texas Health Resources Recovery and Wellness Center. Construction Begins on Ally Charlotte Center

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie is beginning construction on one of Charlotte, North Carolina’s most anticipated mixed-use projects, Ally Charlotte Center. Developed by Crescent Communities, this uptown property will house Ally Financial as its anchor tenant. Crews have mobilized on the project to construct a 26-story, 742,000-square-foot office tower, as well as an eight-story parking deck.
