A construction milestone was celebrated March 3 at the new Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building, as the final beam was placed atop the 10-story building in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Located on the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix campus at 475 N. Fifth St., the 245,000-square-foot research building will be a hub for healthcare and scientific innovation when it opens in early 2017. The Center for Applied Nanoscience and Biomedicine will be headquartered in the building. Brasfield & Gorrie Completes New Coca-Cola Distribution, Sales Center

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Brasfield & Gorrie joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc. for a recent ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the new Coca-Cola Bottling Company United distribution and sales center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Situated on a 38-acre site that was previously home to Olan Mills, the single-story, 350,000-square-foot facility includes 231,000 square feet of warehouse space, as well as 40,000 square feet of office space, a fleet maintenance shop and a truck wash bay. Sundt to Build Mathematics & Science Building at Golden West College

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – The Coast Community College District recently selected Sundt Construction, Inc. to build its new Mathematics & Science Building at the district’s Golden West College campus in Huntington Beach, California. The 118,000-square-foot project, designed by HMC Architects, will feature a three-story classroom building that includes computer labs, lecture rooms, 18 wet and dry science labs, faculty offices and a STEM center.
