Malisch, Ph.D., PE, concrete construction specialist, American Society of Concrete Contractors, received the World of Concrete Legacy Award Feb. 2, just prior to the show’s opening in Las Vegas, Nevada. WOC established the Legacy Award to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the concrete and masonry industries, and who have left a lasting mark on the show. ROCKLAND, Mass. – Integrated Builders has recently completed its exterior renovation project at 205 Burlington Road in Bedford, Massachusetts, on behalf of Calare Properties, the building’s owner and operator. The firm provided construction management services while working with architectural design firm ci design, inc., to deliver an updated façade and overall improved look for the building. ORLANDO, Fla. – McCraney Property Company has retained Marcobay Construction as the general contractor for Bent Oak Industrial Park Phase II, located in Orlando, Florida. The 1-million-square-foot class A industrial spec development project is situated on 66 acres at the intersection of Taft Vineland Road and the Florida Turnpike in Orange County. Sundt Selected for Cal Poly Pomona Project

POMONA, Calif. – Sundt Construction, Inc. was recently selected as the collaborative Design-Build contractor for Phase 1 of a first-year student housing replacement project at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. Teaming with HMC Architects, Brailsford & Dunlavey and Ehrlich Architects, Sundt will develop up to three buildings totaling 305,000 square feet and housing 980 student beds. The $140-million project also includes the addition of a new 35,000-square-foot, single-story dining commons, expansion of the central plant and relocation of a major campus road.
