DURHAM, N.C. — Skanska USA announced it has been awarded a $33-million contract for the construction of a new facility at the Duke Eye Center.  “The Duke Eye Center construction will assist Duke to better serve the fast-growing region and meet the needs of their unique patients by integrating the latest technologies in a comfortable environment,” said Senior Project Manager Greg Shenkler, Skanska USA. Gilbane Building Company to Serve as Construction Manager for John Tyler Community College

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. — Gilbane Building Company has been awarded the Phase III Academic Building and Parking Garage on the John Tyler Community College Midlothian Campus. The new 70,000-square-foot building will provide academic classrooms, computer and testing labs, administrative spaces, student/faculty common space, a black box teaching theatre, fitness classroom, dance/performance classroom space, student services space and café.
