The joint venture led by Skanska, along with New South Construction, FS360 and Synergy Construction, has been selected to construct five additional gates at the north end of Concourse T at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Hartsfield-Jackson) in Georgia. In addition to building the gates, the joint venture will also rebuild a major portion of the North Terminal exit road, construct a Delta Air Lines ground support equipment facility and a fire station, as well as oversee relocations to the utilities’ infrastructure. Balfour Beatty and 50/50 joint venture, Gammon, has been awarded a four-year HK$12.88-billion contract for the expansion of terminal 2 at Hong Kong International Airport, by the Airport Authority Hong Kong. Gammon will be responsible for the expansion of the main terminal 2 building and construction of interconnecting bridges, mechanical and electrical works, as well as associated viaducts and roads.
