VINCI has recently launched work to upgrade the runways and runway lighting system at the Toulon Hy res airport. VINCI Airports began operating the airport in 2015 under a 25-year French government concession awarded by the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. CPB Contractors Awarded Auckland International Airport Works

CIMIC Group company, CPB Contractors, has been awarded Auckland (New Zealand) Airport’s Taxiway Mike and Remote Stands Stage 2 project, a critical component in the facility’s major capital works program. The contract will generate revenue to CPB Contractors of approximately NZ$221 million over the next two years. Works include construction of an additional taxiway, extension of an existing taxiway and six remote stands with in-ground jet fuel reticulation, as part of a major expansion at New Zealand’s largest and busiest airport. The new center is a component of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority’s BNA Vision, a $1.2-billion expansion and renovation plan to accommodate regional population growth and the airport’s record-breaking passenger increases. The new parking and transportation center project was completed under budget, and features a six-level, 2,200-space garage equipped with parking guidance which includes sensors to direct drivers to open parking spaces. Mortenson used innovative construction technologies and Lean practices to build three major new ground facilities totaling 180,000 square feet for United Airlines at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (Illinois) in less than a year.
