The consortium PORR ORTNER will deliver the new campus of MCI | The Entrepreneurial School in Innsbruck, Austria by 2024 on behalf of the province of Tyrol. The consortium emerged as the winner of the award procedure, held as a “competitive dialogue.” The project has a contract volume of EUR 135m. Hilti Unveils BIM-Enabled Construction Jobsite Robot

Hilti has introduced its first robot, Jaibot, for semi-autonomous mobile ceiling drilling. The Hilti Jaibot construction robot will help mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation contractors tackle productivity, safety and labor shortage challenges. It is cordless and easy-to-use, and doesn’t require expert skills. The Jaibot executes its tasks based on BIM data. It locates itself accurately indoors, drills the holes dust-controlled and marks them according to the trade. 3D Technology Instrumental in Delivering First-Generation Office Space at Edison Windward

New construction is complete for Atlanta, Georgia’s Edison Windward and its interior build-out in the new office building for its healthcare tenants. Initiated early March, the project was a collaborative effort between general contractor Swinerton’s Building Group and Special Projects Group. The $4.5-million project entailed a build-out of more than 67,000 square feet of space within Edison.
