Later this month, the construction team and school will celebrate the topping out of the Noble Family Performing Arts Center at Parish Episcopal School’s Midway Campus in Dallas, Texas. The new performing arts center—part of a 55,000-square-foot campus expansion—will host student performances, community and milestone events, awards ceremonies and high-caliber speakers and cultural events. Balfour Beatty to Deliver Healthcare Facilities in Midlands

Balfour Beatty has been awarded England’s £267-million Midland Metropolitan Hospital contract on behalf of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. Having been appointed to deliver the early works contract in 2018, Balfour Beatty will now progress with the main construction works to the 80,000-square-meter hospital, including the completion of the external façade and all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, delivered by Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick. The 670-bed Midland Metropolitan Hospital will offer maternity, children’s and inpatient adult facilities to a half million people. Balfour Beatty JV Awarded Manufacturing Facility Contract in Hong Kong

Balfour Beatty’s 50/50 joint venture, Gammon Construction, has been awarded a HK$4.75 billion contract to deliver an Advanced Manufacturing Centre on behalf of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. The contract will see Gammon deliver the 108,000-square-meter AMC facility, including a seawater district cooling system. This system, which will be used to cool the entire AMC building, is a cost-effective and environmental friendly solution for building cooling. The work will include all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, the building façade and a significant amount of steelworks. The Pankrác project of developer company, Skanska, called Parkview, is under construction in Pujmanová street in Prague 4, opposite the Pankrác Central Park.
