KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Owens-Ames-Kimball Co. adds Dan Predl as project superintendent for its Kalamazoo, Michigan office. This is a newly added position in response to the company’s continued growth in the region. As project superintendent, Predl is responsible for leadership and direction onsite. His duties include subcontractor management, schedule control, quality assurance and safety management. Predl has six years of construction management experience and holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Construction Management from Central Michigan University.

Sundt Completes Lab Renovations at California State University

CAMARILLO, Calif. – Sundt Construction, Inc. recently completed a $2.4-million laboratory renovation at California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo. Designed to accommodate the needs of the university’s biology and chemistry departments, the Design-Build project included installation and reconfiguration of casework, fume hoods, mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment within four existing dry laboratories inside the campus’s Aliso Hall building. The Aliso Hall renovation is one of three projects Sundt has been contracted to build on the CI campus. The Korte Company will begin construction on a 100,000-square-foot Design-Build warehouse facility within America’s Central Port, located in Madison, Illinois, just five miles north of downtown St. Louis.
