Decorative Concrete Council Unveils Award Winners of Annual International Competition

The Decorative Concrete Council of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, St. Louis, Missouri, has announced the winners of its 15th Annual Decorative Concrete International Awards. The DCC’s WOW Award (best in show), in the category of vertical & facades over 5,000 square feet, was presented to Bomanite of Southeast Asia, Manilla, Philippines for the Manila Zoo rehabilitation project. The project was started during the height of the pandemic, which presented significant challenges with all the lockdown and movement restrictions. Winners of 2016 Decorative Concrete Council Award Announced

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Decorative Concrete Council, a specialty council of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, St. Louis, Missouri, has announced the winners of its eighth annual Decorative Concrete Awards competition. The winners were recognized at a ceremony at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Feb 2. The USF Polytechnic 555 Building, Lakeland, Florida, won the WOW! Award, best overall project for Baker Concrete Construction. The innovative design in architectural concrete includes an elliptical-shaped structure highlighted with exposed concrete raker portals.
