Health First Provides Cape Canaveral Hospital Construction Project Update

Exactly one year since Health First broke ground on the new Cape Canaveral replacement hospital in Merritt Island, Florida, officials provided an onsite status update on the project. Since the first ceremonial turn of dirt on “3-2-1 Day” in 2024 a lot has happened; the existing building on the premises has been demolished, land cleared, drainage systems installed, pilings driven, foundation laid and walls are now going up at a rapid pace. Gilbane-Flintco Celebrates the Unveiling of Convention District Transformation Project

Mayor John Whitmire has announced the landmark project to revitalize the George R. Brown Convention Center at a press conference hosted by Houston First Corporation. Team members from Hines, Gilbane Building Company, Flintco Construction and Populous joined community members and city officials to commemorate the upcoming development. Gilbane Building Company Announces Graduates of Gilbane Rising Contractor Program

Gilbane is proud to announce the Mid-Atlantic Spring 2024 Gilbane Rising Contractor Program graduates. This year’s class includes 23 firms from across the Mid-Atlantic that offer services ranging from utilities and excavation to electrical plumbing and HVAC. To participate, each firm is required to apply for the program, where they are evaluated on requirements similar to Gilbane’s prequalification process. From there, they participate in a 12-week program led by the company’s subject matter experts on topics like safety, sustainability and risk management. Upon completing the program, participants enter a one-year formal mentorship agreement with a senior-level representative.
