Gilbane Building joined the University of New Hampshire for a beam-signing ceremony for the new Center of Excellence for Operational Ocean and Great Lakes Mapping, a milestone in the construction of the 70,500-square-foot research facility in Durham, New Hampshire. The building will house the Center of Excellence, alongside the John Olson Advanced Manufacturing Center, supporting applied research, training and technical assistance in ocean mapping. It will also include 35,000 square feet of high-bay space for industry partners collaborating with UNH. Gilbane Building is serving as design-builder in partnership with Stantec. The project is scheduled to open in fall 2027.
