BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham recently broke ground on The Salvation Army Center of Hope in Birmingham, Alabama. Salvation Army Leadership were joined by elected officials, donors and local community partners at the construction site for formal groundbreaking ceremony, and spoke about the dramatic difference the new Center of Hope will have on the lives of thousands of individuals, as well as the community and the city. Ground is Broken on City of Hoover Sports and Events Center

HOOVER, Ala. – The city of Hoover recently broke ground on the Hoover Sports and Events Center. The facility will be built adjacent to the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on 120 acres and is estimated to cost $76 million. Features of the facility include an indoor events center, outdoor sports fields, tennis complex and RV park expansion. Rice University Breaks Ground on New Project

Rice University recently broke ground on the highly anticipated new parking garage and office annex project on the Houston, Texas campus. The six-story, 66,710-square-foot office building will house up to 295 work spaces, depending on office layouts. The east side of the building will be connected to a new seven-level parking garage with 450+ parking spaces.
