CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Brasfield & Gorrie joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc. for a recent ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the new Coca-Cola Bottling Company United distribution and sales center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Situated on a 38-acre site that was previously home to Olan Mills, the single-story, 350,000-square-foot facility includes 231,000 square feet of warehouse space, as well as 40,000 square feet of office space, a fleet maintenance shop and a truck wash bay. Chattanooga Coca-Cola will move its distribution facility and regional offices to the new center, while bottling operations will continue at the company’s existing location. … Read more

Knutson Breaks Ground on $7.8M Water Treatment Facilities Project

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Knutson Construction has been awarded general contractor for two new water treatment facilities in Minnetrista, Minnesota. The construction of the treatment facilities is designed to increase the water quality for the citizens of Minnetrista and to allow for future capacity expansion. Construction will include forced draft aerators, process pumps, well pumps and motors, along with chemical feed systems. The new facilities will be treating for iron and manganese. The construction team will be led by John Lewis, senior project manager, Jens Frederickson, project manager and Steve Krampert, superintendent.
