PCL Construction has been awarded the $1.7-billion Design-Build contract for the new St. Paul’s Hospital Project in Canada. This healthcare facility will be the most extensive hospital redevelopment in British Columbia’s history and PCL’s largest Buildings division Design-Build in company history. Prefabrication Expedites Delivery, Enhances Construction Safety of New ED Banner Boswell Medical Center

The new emergency department Banner Boswell Medical Center, located in Sun City, Arizona, opened recently and is accepting patients. The project team included McCarthy Building Companies, HMC Architects. The new 40,000-square-foot ED is part of a larger $106-million expansion project that also includes a new patient tower. This is the largest renovation that the medical facility has undergone in 30 years. The new ED increases capacity from 42 to 56 beds, allowing the department to care for up to 60,000 ED patients annually, representing a 25% increase. CIMIC’s CPB Contractors Wins $107M Wagga Wagga Health Services Project

CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors has been selected by the New South Wales Government in Australia to design and construct the Wagga Wagga Health Service Stage 3 Redevelopment Project. The project will generate revenue of $107 million to the CIMIC Group. Construction commenced in February 2019, with operational commissioning scheduled for late 2020.
