The award was bestowed in recognition for the strategy and outcomes achieved delivering Lakeridge Health’s new long-term care home, Lakeridge Gardens (Ajax, Ontario), the first project to be completed under Infrastructure Ontario’s Accelerated Build Pilot Program. The new Mitikah mixed-use development recently opened in Mexico City, and includes the largest retail center in Latin America. Stantec provided retail design as part of the larger project design team with Cesar Pelli, Enrique Norten, SMA and Colonnier y Asociados. The builder was Parks. A £1.4-million public realm project, which has re-vamped Church Square in London, England’s Scunthorpe Town Centre, was recently delivered by Esh Construction. Working on behalf of North Lincolnshire Council, the scheme formed the second phase of the Scunthorpe Urban Park development, supported by the Government’s Towns Fund initiative.
