CPB Contractors Wins $84M Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre

CPB Contractors has been selected by the city of Sydney, Australia to design and construct the Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, the largest pool complex to be built in the city since the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The project, situated within the city of Sydney’s new Green Square precinct, will generate revenue of approximately $84 million to CPB Contractors. Construction group BAM has begun work on the second building at Paradise, Birmingham, Two Chamberlain Square in the United Kingdom. The 183,000-square-foot contemporary office building joins One Chamberlain Square in fronting the enhanced new public realm that will complete the first phase of the Paradise development. PORR to Build Rail Tunnel for Erdinger Ringschluss at Munich Airport

Flughafen München GmbH has charged PORR with the extension of the existing railway tunnel, which will be expanded by around 1.8 kilometers to the east. The project cost is roughly EUR $110 million. The tunnel will primarily be driven using the cut-and-cover method. New Bridge Opens Across UK’s Biggest Road Project

The A14 Integrated Delivery Team, comprised of Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Costain, has completed the second of 34 bridges and main structures on the UK’s biggest road project. The newly opened bridge forms part of Highways England’s £1.5 billion major improvement scheme on the A14.
